TasNetworks Hackathon

AWS Bedrock AI agent workflow · Grid utility automation

Context

AI agent cloud orchestration workflow for TasNetworks, a Tasmanian electricity grid utility. Built on AWS infrastructure during a focused hackathon.

Domain compression

Reduced a 38-hour connection design review process to minutes. AI agents evaluate new electricity connection requests against network topology and safety constraints, flagging only the cases that need human review.

Role

Implemented design engine components. Built agent integration tests verifying correct handoff between Bedrock agents. Collaborated on human-in-the-loop gate validation for cases requiring engineer sign-off.
